The school does have a homework policy and pupils will be regularly asked to complete work at home. Parental support and help is very much appreciated.
As reading is an important part of the learning process, we would encourage reading at home as often as possible. Children are encouraged to take home books to read. These may be either fiction or non-fiction. We also encourage our pupils to read for pleasure. To this end, reading magazines, comics and books of personal interest all make up a rich and varied reading diet.
Pupils across Key Stage 2 may have homework set using Education City, an online resource which is accessed over the Internet.
As a school we have recently subscribed to MyMaths, again, this is an online facility for pupils to access at home.
