School Ambassadors
Our School Ambassadors are at the heart of school life, helping to make Lingfield Primary School a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring place for everyone. Chosen for their positive attitude, leadership potential and commitment to our school values, they proudly represent the voice of our pupils and play an active role in shaping our school community.
From welcoming visitors and supporting school events to gathering the views of their classmates and promoting positive behaviour, our ambassadors are excellent role models who demonstrate kindness, responsibility and respect every day. They work closely with staff to share ideas, celebrate successes and help make meaningful improvements across the school.
Being a School Ambassador is both an honour and a responsibility. It provides pupils with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, communication and leadership skills while making a genuine difference to the experiences of others. We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, dedication and sense of pride our ambassadors bring to their role and to our school community.
How are School Ambassadors Chosen?
At Lingfield Primary School, becoming a School Ambassador is a special opportunity to lead, inspire and make a positive difference to our school community. Pupils who wish to stand for election prepare and deliver a speech to the whole school, sharing their ideas for how they will support their peers and help our school continue to grow and improve. The candidates speak with confidence and passion about the changes they would like to make and the qualities they would bring to the role.
Once all speeches have been presented, every pupil is given the opportunity to vote for the candidate they believe would best represent our school. This process brings the British Value of democracy to life, helping children understand that every voice matters and that everyone has the right to participate in decisions that affect their community. Through this experience, pupils develop confidence, leadership and public speaking skills, while learning the importance of respect, responsibility and active citizenship. We are always incredibly proud of the courage, enthusiasm and commitment shown by every child who puts themselves forward.

Hello, my name is Imogen and I am in Year 6. I would love to be your school ambassador because I care deeply about our school. I want to make sure every student feels happy, safe and welcome. I am a good listener and a helping friend and I try my best in school. My favourite part of this school is the supportive teachers and friends. I will work hard if I get the chance to be school ambassador. Thank you for listening. Please vote for me and lets make this a good year.

Hello my name is Ollie. I would like to be a school ambassador. I think that I could do the job because I am sensible. When I was in cubs I was a seconder, where I had to help other children. I am confident talking to people. I think I can do a good slide show. A slide-show is photos and words in a display. Thank you.

Hi! I am Olivia and I am running to be your school leader. I would like to be a pupil ambassador because I think it would be an exciting opportunity to represent the school and help out. I will be a good ambassador because I am caring, kind, responsible and have good teamwork skills. I do gymnastics, dance and Guides and I volunteer for the North York Moors National Park. I am also good at public speaking. I have performed at the ARC Theatre in Stockton and have had many speaking lines and solo on stage. I would enjoy helping out at school events, including making parents feel welcome, listening to pupils and representing their ideas. I would also enjoy bringing back great ideas from other school and sharing them with everyone. So, if you want a Pupil Leader who will listen to your ideas, represent your opinions and always try their best, then I would love your vote. Thank you for listening.

Hello, my name is Nell and I am in Year 6 and I think I would be a good School Ambassador.
Firstly, I am very responsible and you can always rely on me to do my jobs very well. I am kind and I care a lot about our school. I would do an excellent job telling other schools about all of the exciting things we do at Lingfield.
Secondly, I am an excellent listener. This means I can go to other schools and hear all about the things they do at their school. I would be your eyes and ears on visits. I am very good with PowerPoint, so I could create excellent presentations to show you what I have learned. I would greet visitors to our school with a smile and let them know how proud we are of each other and our school. I would love to represent you and Lingfield Primary.
Nell

Hi everyone, I’m Beth and I would really love to be your school ambassador. Since I joined Lingfield in Nursery, this school has helped me find my voice and become more confident in being myself. I’d love the chance to use that confidence to speak up and makes sure that everyone’s ideas and opinions are heard. I’ve also been part of lots of different teams which have helped me learn how to work with lots of different people. I think that I would be a good ambassador because I am kind, resilient and I am not afraid to speak up when something matters.
Most importantly, I want to make a difference in my final year at Lingfield. I want to know that I have made everyone’s time here as special as possible.
So, if you choose me to be your school ambassador, I promise to listen to you, speak up for you and to do my best to make a difference. Thanks for listening.
Beth
I think I would be a good school ambassador because I was the first school council member chosen for school. I am a confident and reliable person. I would like to improve Lingfield for all future pupils to have an even better time. I think I would be a good ambassador because I listen. This school is fantastic and we can work together to make it better.
